The validation of applicants for NCS is an important element of the NCS scheme oversight and compliance.  For this, a sample of applicants will be asked to verify some of the information they declared in their application for NCS.

Where an applicant’s information cannot be verified, their application will be subject to a re-assessment and recoupment process. Any necessary recoupment will be managed by Pobal dealing with the applicant directly.  Service Providers will not be contacted or involved in the Recoupment Process.

It is important to note that registrations affected by this process may receive a new, earlier end-date, and when the applicant receives a new award registration details may have to be completed again.  This will be a matter between the Applicant and the Service Provider in line with policy guidelines.
