All service calendars must be submitted by this date. This deadline can be found in the appendix of each contract. However as payments are based on your calendars, these should be completed before beginning the registration process
30 September, 2017 – Fees lists submitted
If you haven’t already done so, all fees lists must be submitted by this date. This deadline can be found in the appendix of each contract.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
These are now up on PIP under PIP Resources – Document type FAQ. You will find pre-registration forms for all programmes – ECCE, CCS, CCSP, CCSU and TEC.
These are now also up on PIP for your reference. Remember that where a schedule says ‘maximum 5 week payment’ you will only be paid for the weeks that you are open in that payment period. PIP uses your submitted calendar to calculate how many weeks should be included in each payment run.
These payment schedules are for reference only and are subject to change, so check for up to date payment information.
Higher capitation rates will be included in payment 2 on 22 September if the DCYA have approved it. At the time of writing there was no information on the application process for 2017/18. We have flagged this with the DCYA and will let you know as soon as we have any further information.
Contract activation and registrations
You must be in contract for a programme before you can start to register children. Note the programme registration dates in the table below. Full details are on PIP.
Many of you have submitted your fee policies and calenders and thank you for doing so. We are working our way through them and in some instances we have some queries where more information or clarification is needed. We would ask if you have submitted them to check on PIP to see if they have been queried, if you need any help or assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
We would also like to say thank you for helping parents navigate the new funding measures that are being introduced in September. The national promotion campaign has made parents much more aware of all the funding available to them and we know they are contacting you first for more information.
You can point them in the direction of the website www.affordablechildcare.ie and we are more than happy to talk parents through their options if they have more queries.
Important notice on PIP
Please see below – this may be an issue for some services where the PAU may not be involved in the day to day running of the service, therefore we would advise that the Manager should ensure they are an authorised PIP user. If you need assistance with doing this, please contact us.
Early Years Notification: As part of the new security authentication process it will only be possible to discuss and provide information to a service PAU and authorised PIP users. Please refer to the recent PIP announcement (24/07/2017) entitled “Contacting the Online Support Team” for further details.
