28 September 2018 – Higher Capitation applications open *Today*
Please see below for details.
28th September 2018 – Learner Fund Bursary. Applications must be delivered by hand to WCCC no later than 5pm today
Higher capitation application and payments
The applications will go live today. Once your application has been approved, payments will issue at the next payment date. Catch-up payments will be made on a weekly basis, and all payments will be back dated as necessary. When you have had your application approved, you can ask Pobal for an expected payment date.
WCCC advises services to check their registration status to ensure they are not in breach of regulations. Where an ECCE service is including 1 extra hour under optional extras, they could potentially be in breach of their notification status if they are notified only as sessional (because the extra hour takes them to part-time). Service providers are encouraged to ensure compliance if services need to submit a change of circumstance form and notify Túsla.
AIM Level 1 LINC payments
The first of these payments issued last Friday 21 September for applications made by close of business on Monday 17 September. Catch up payments are being made weekly and back dated as necessary. Remember you must reapply annually for your LINC payment. This is to confirm that the LINC graduate is still working in your service.
Informed consent for AIM applications
The AIM Informed consent has been updated and is available on the aim.gov.ie website. Please make sure that you fill in all areas of the form. If your form isn’t complete your application may be delayed.
New LINC payment applications
You can now apply for LINC payments for the 2017/18 LINC graduates. Apply as soon as possible to receive payment. The application form is on PIP. It can be found on your AIM tab at the top of your service page.
CCS August financial returns
Due to an issue with the uploading of the forms, most of them can be found under draft rather than new.
AIM level 7 payments
The first of these payments was scheduled for today. The payment is made on the basis of active, approved registrations as at close of business Monday 24 September. Please review any AIM registrations to ensure that they are active and approved.
Attendance and the CCS snap-shot window
We have been asked to draw your attention to a part of the letter you received from the DCYA regarding attendance during the snap-shot window. We highlighted the need for accurate attendance registration in last week’s bulletin. However you may have missed an important message in the letter.
The rules for the 2018/19 programme have been amended with regard to the keeping of attendance records to the following:
The rules also state that if payments are adjusted as above, overpayments will be recouped.
We know we had this as a reminder some weeks ago, but we would strongly recommend that you pay special attention to your attendance records and make sure that they comply with the DCYA’s requirements.
If you have any questions about anything in the bulletin or you need help with any other aspect of your service provision, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Early Years and School Age Capital
The expenditure form for both the Early Years and School Age Capital returns are live on the PIP portal. Please log onto the PIP Portal to access the form, this form must be completed for each strand of funding you were successful under.
Guidelines to help you fill in the form are available here . We strongly suggest you read the guidelines thoroughly before submitting the completed forms. If you have any questions or queries with regards to the expenditure form please contact Pobal online support on firstname.lastname@example.org or (01)-5117222.
