    Early Years and School Age Capital 2018 Announcement

    The Minister for Children and Youth Affairs, Dr. Katherine Zappone T.D., has announced a total of €6.87m in Capital funding to be awarded to providers of Early Years and School Age Childcare this summer.  Pobal will now begin the process of notifying all applicants of these decisions.     2018/19 Programme readiness and re-contracting

    You may have noticed the announcement on PIP about getting ready for September 2018. This will be done in two phases. Phase 1 bagan on Monday. This involved you getting all the green lights you need to sign contracts for the various childcare programmes. The system will be similar to last year. You will need to recertify or certify the following:

    • Primary Authorised User (PAU)
    • Organisation Details
    • Service Details

    In Phase 2, beginning on the 11 June, once you have completed the above you will have the opportunity to recontract for the various childcare schemes.  The How to Guide is now up on PIP see https://bit.ly/2JllgPt to download a copy.

    Can we also remind those of you who still have to return information to us in relation to the data we hold belonging to you to do so as soon as possible.  It is essential that we have this  information so we can communicate with you in relation to various matters.
