    2018/19 Programme readiness and re-contracting

You may have noticed the announcement on PIP about getting ready for September 2018. This involves you getting all the green lights you need to sign contracts for the various childcare programmes. The system will be similar to last year. You will need to recertify or certify the following:

    • Primary Authorised User (PAU)
    • Organisation Details
    • Service Details

In Phase 2, beginning on the 11 June, once you have completed the above you will have the opportunity to re-contract for the various childcare schemes.  The How to Guide is now up on PIP see https://bit.ly/2JllgPt to download a copy.

    Programme support payments

The applications for programme support payments are now open. These payments are in recognition of the administrative work services undertake to deliver the various childcare schemes. This year there will be one payment covering all of the schemes you offer. The form can be found on the programme readiness section of PIP and must be completed by the service PAU.  The payments cover the 2017/18 academic year. This is the only payment that will be made this year.  Payments will be made to childcare providers in the last week of June.

Apply for this as soon as possible, don’t wait for the deadline.   Full details are available on PIP.
