Early Years and School Age Childcare Services Capital Grants Information Sessions

Wicklow County Childcare Committee are hosting information sessions on the Early Years and School Aged Childcare Capital Grants Programme 2019 on the following dates;

6th March, 7pm – 8pm Donard

11th March, 7pm – 8pm Glenview Hotel

We will be presenting the eligibility criteria for each of the strands A-C, supports and resources available and an opportunity for questions and answers.

The 2019 Early Learning and Care and School Age Capital programmes will open for applications from 25th February to 27th March 2019.

The available strands of funding are as follows:

Strand A:  Creation of new places for 0-3 year olds – €4.231m (max. €50,000 per grant).

Strand B:  Fire Safety for community early years services – €0.875m, (max. €15,000 per grant).

Strand C:  Creation of new school age places – €1m (max. €20,000 per grant).

Both early learning care services and school age childcare providers are invited to apply.

The Application Guidelines is a detailed document containing all the information prospective applicants need to prepare themselves for making an application under the programmes.

All applicants must have a DCYA Reference Number for the facility which is the subject of the Strand application. Please note, applicants that are applying for a new DCYA reference number in order to make an a Capital grant application will need to complete and return the new DCYA reference number application form and the PIP mandate form.

Please note that the deadline for completed forms to be returned to WCCC for a DCYA reference number is the 8th of March 2019 by email to jane@wccc.ie

Please Note: Childcare services that already hold a DCYA Reference Number for their existing facility do not have to complete this form.
