Their new Leadership Programme ‘Inspiring Practice’ is an exciting new professional learning programme for all those working with young children.
Research tells us that effective leadership is recognised as a key component of quality practice in early childhood settings.
Quality of management and leadership for learning is one of the key areas in the framework for DES Education Focused Inspections (2016).
The focus of this programme is to support early year’s educators develop their leadership skills and professional practice. Each week a range of relevant topics linked to leadership in early childhood settings will be explored in an engaging and interactive way. Topics include developing your vision and mission, leadership and management, effective communication, professionalism, teamwork and collaboration.
The programme will consist of 5 x 3 hour sessions. Learners must attend all five session in order to get their certificate of attendance. There will also be an option to avail of an on-site support visits (additional cost).
