Below we have set out the application forms and relevant documentation that you will need to complete to participate in the various government childcare schemes in September 2014.
Please read the notes carefully.
They are divided into NEW APPLICATIONS (services who are joining the schemes for the first time) and RE-APPLICATIONS (services that already offer one or more of the schemes and wish to continue to do so).
Once you have read the relevant instructions and completed the accompanying forms, please post a paper copy to Wicklow County Childcare Committee, Kilmantin Hill, Wicklow Town no later than 5pm on Friday 28th March.
If you have a query regarding the completion of your application forms, please contact the Development Officer for your area, who will be happy to help.
(i.e. services which have previously participated in any of the Childcare Programmes and which do have a DCYA Ref No. (eg 09WX0210). This category includes services which received an ECCE contract but did not actively participate in the programme as they had no eligible children.)
So each service will have at least two forms to complete, the Programmes Overview Form and whichever forms are required for the schemes they wish to remain part of.
Note – where a service which previously participated in the ECCE and/or CCS programmes now wishes to apply to participate in the CETS programme, the service should complete the relevant ReApp form(s) AND the NewAppCETS form.
In the case of RE-APPLICATIONS, the service has been instructed NOT to attach Tax Clearance Certificates or EFTs to the re-application form. The Department will request copies of these from the applicant if required.
(i.e. services which have never previously participated in any of the Childcare Programmes and which do not, therefore, have a DCYA Ref No.)
In the case of new applicants, the service provider may attach copy documents (e.g. tax clearance form, EFT form, or qualifications). These documents will be submitted by the CCC to the Department with the application form.
Applications for higher capitation have not been invited from new or existing service providers as part of this application process. Such applications will not be dealt with until September 2014.
In September 2014, any applications for higher capitation should be submitted by the service provider separately to Childcare Directorate, quoting the DCYA reference number.
