Wicklow County Childcare Committee (WCCC)  has been working with early years providers; childminders and parents for more than a decade to provide information, guidance and support on the delivery of best practice, quality early childhood care and education in Co. Wicklow.

We have an exciting part time position available as a Development Officer within our team of seven.

The role involves an interesting variety of duties and responsibilities supporting the local early years sector and the successful candidate will primarily support early years services on the eastern region of the county.

Remuneration for this role commences at Local Authority Grade V (€40,213 pro rata).

The post is 20 hours per week, permanent and subject to probation, funding and Garda clearance. Successful applicants must meet the Essential Job Specifications outlined in the Job Description attached.

WCCC’s office is located at Kilmantin Hill, Wicklow Town, Co. Wicklow.

Interviews will take place the week commencing Monday 20th February.

It is hoped that the successful candidate will commence their role on Monday 20th March to accommodate induction and handover.
